MARK SAZAVSKY

Combining an interest in plumbing with a fondness for yelling, the Trombone seemed a logical choice for Mark Sazavsky. Many years were spent closeted away from society in the dark northern regions of the mind listening to Big Band, Jazz and Classical music. Music lessons continued with a brief respite on the electric bass taught by future bandmate Trav Short. A stint playing with the Lost Action Heroes during their untimely demise introduced Ska/Punk ferocity into his horn styling. An opportunity to travel abroad as a musician, playing to crowds of 3000 people in a circus tent, was presented when John Calverly organized a band for the Volya Ukrainian Dance group. Shortly thereafter Mark joined Audio Squadron. Mark continues to pursue avant-gard projects in and out of the Squad and play wtih small electric trains. Favorite bands include: Bend Sinister, Shinning, Chamber Graffiti, Dave Holland, Mahogany Frog, Grimskunk, Mr. Bungle and The Budos Band. Favorite people include: Anyone who listens and enjoys the smooth sounds of AUDio SQUADron.
