It seems like we have been at this album for all our lives. But man… it’s gonna be worth it.
It's been awhile...
So yes…we’ve been a little distracted with life. Thus the first update in half a year. But, ask the universe and it shall provide. AUDio SQUADron has recieved a little government “kick in the ass” and so, the new album REQUISITE VARIETY is on the way. We are pretty excited about the new stuff and are looking forward to selling it to everyone we meet. This time around we are mixing in original scored pieces as well as our tried n’ true method of choping our free improv into strange little tunes. Plus we are recording at our long time rehearsal space, B-19, and have the luxury of really screwing around with our sounds. Gonna be a fun summer.
HECK art show and AUDio SQUADron trio
Nothing to do on Canada Day? Yeah, we thought so. Come down to Remedy Cafe (109 st and 86 ave) at 9:30 p.m. to witness new artwork by Brian Heck and hear “never heard before” sounds by AUDio SQUADron trio. We couldn’t fit all 5 of us upstairs so we kicked John and Ojas out of the band for this show, ONE NIGHT ONLY! The music, that is. You may enjoy the artwork for all of the month of July.

Just wanted to tell all the folks that came out to our last couple of shows thank-you for the support. Dennis said that if nobody claps at these shows, he’s gonna put on his thickest winter coat and take his own life by jumping off the top of his van into the snowbank on his front yard. People, your clapter saved his life.

PLUS!! Just around the corner…AUDio SQUADron will be playing the Sidetrack Cafe on WEDNESDAY, OCT. 25 opening for MAHOGANY FROG. They are from Winnipeg and if you missed them the last time they were in town, now is your chance to make peace with yourself. They are really good.

Patience dear fans. We here at AUDio SQUADron know it is difficult to concentrate on your day to days lives knowing there is a new album on the horizon. But you are gonna have to be patient just like us. For some reason these wacky songs always take longer to record than we think. Stay tuned for more earth-shattering developments.
